Together with her friends and family Anna loves to explore the great outdoors. The mountains are particularly close to her heart. It saddens her to see the glaciers disappear so quickly, which is why she built the subject of her first children’s book around this pressing issue.

About Anna
Anna recently completed her first children’s book, Friend from the Sea – a story inspired by her love of snow, mountains, and the natural world. Written and illustrated by hand, the book follows a young boy and his dog on a journey across melting glaciers, inviting children to explore themes of adventure, friendship, and climate change.Anna has been painting since she was little, encouraged by her artist grandmother to experiment with colours and printmaking techniques. Her career as a designer took her around the world, with stints in cities like Bangkok and London. But in the end, it was the call of the mountains that brought her home to Switzerland.When she’s not painting or working outdoors, Anna enjoys life with her family and continues to explore mixed media and oil painting – always drawing inspiration from nature and the places she loves most.
